Carried out a fire test in Singapore on an improved model of single-layer insulated fire shutter (IFS-4GS-120) and successfully tested to BS EN 1634-1 standard. Achieved 4 hrs of fire insulation and 4 hrs of fire integrity
Appointment of Blast Resource Group, LLC as exclusive distributor for blast-mitigating and blast-resistance shutters in the US

Successfully completed the development program of our Blast Shutter in consultation with ABS Consulting Group in Texas, USA. This includes the use of finite element analysis (FEA) to design the door system and then validate the model with a full-scale shock tube test of the working model. Based on the blast test results, our shutter is capable of two performance level :-
Blast Mitigating (PL 1) – blast load with peak pressure 75 kPA and peak impulse 1050 kPa-ms
Blast Resistant (PL 2) – blast load with peak pressure 40 kPA and peak impulse 500 kPa-ms
Developed a Storm Shutter that was pressure-tested to ASTM 330E/330M. The 6.0m W x 5.0m Ht test specimen withstood a pressure up to +2.5 kPa. This is equivalent to pressures from wind speeds of 223 km/h (138 mph)
We also conducted wind pressure tests on Storm Shutter to AS4055 in 2023, achieving N4 (3.3kPa non-cyclonic) and C1 (3.0kPa cyclonic) classifications
